Titans Will Look To Sign Safety Thompson Long-Term

Tennessean.com - After releasing free safety Lance Shulters, the Tennessee Titans will look to lock up his replacement, Lamont Thompson, to a long-term contract sometime soon.

As a restricted free agent, Thompson signed his one-year tender from the Titans earlier this offseason.

"We've gotten proposals from both of (their agents) and we'll start talking to them and go from there,'' Titans general manager Floyd Reese said. [READ]
