The Kansas City Star - The Kansas City Chiefs? exciting new tight end Kris Wilson was forced to spend his rookie season on the sideline after injuring his leg in Kansas City?s pre-season finale versus Dallas.

As a result, he has been working extra hard to become the player he was hyped to be for the 2005 season.

?I don?t know if he still has lingering effects of the leg or the confidence of moving around,? Chiefs quarterback Trent Green said. ?It seems like every week and every practice he gets more and more confidence.

?I think he has gotten a lot better this offseason.?

?I?m just going to try to do a lot of the same things I did last year,? Wilson said. ?I?m a lot further along mentally. [READ]
