The Redskins announced today that they have re-signed unrestricted free agent quarterback Rex Grossman. Grossman returns for his third season with the Redskins and his 10th overall in the NFL. Last season, he set career highs in pass completions (265) and completion percentage (57.9). In 13 starts in 2011, Grossman finished with 3,151 yards, the second highest passing yardage total of his career. Prior to a 2009 stint in Houston, Grossman played his first six years with Chicago, which selected him in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2003 NFL Draft.
