Bush And White Will Face Off In Preseason
12th August, 2006 - 8:38 pm
The Advocate - New Orleans rookie running back Reggie Bush will see some familiar faces when the Saints play their preseason opener at Tennessee tonight.

His backfield mate at USC, LenDale White, is a third-round pick of the Titans and is expected to play in the second half. Tennessee?s offensive coordinator Norm Chow was Bush?s coordinator in college.

On a slightly more negative note, Bush will face a rematch with Titans? No. 1 pick Vince Young, who quarterbacked Texas to victory over the Trojans in the BCS Championship in the Rose Bowl in January.

?LenDale is still like a brother to me,? Bush said. ?We battled together, we worked together. It?ll just be a little weird seeing him over there in a different jersey. But other than that, he?s still one of my good friends.

?This is a time for us to learn and get better and prepare ourselves for the regular season when it actually counts, so this will be a learning process for all the rookies. (The media) will probably try to make it a Vince Young-Reggie Bush thing, but it?s a Tennessee Titans-New Orleans Saints game.? [READ]
