Arizona Releases QB Chris Lewis And CB Tyrone Sanders

ESPN - The Cardinals released quarterback Chris Lewis and cornerback Tyrone Sanders.

Lewis, signed as a rookie free agent from Stanford in 2004, spent all of last season on Arizona's practice squad. He played with Cologne of NFL Europe earlier this year, passing for 412 yards in nine games.

Sanders also played for Cologne after finishing last year on the Cardinals' practice squad. The Cardinals signed him on June 7, 2004, and he went to training camp with the team until he was released Aug. 22. He was re-signed for the practice squad on Dec. 15. [READ]
