Coughlin OK With Giants Speaking Confidently

Ohm Youngmisuk/ESPN.com - Tom Coughlin has no problem with a few of the Giants saying they are going to win the Super Bowl.

In Coughlin's eyes, it's no different than Tom Brady telling a crowd at a pep rally that he hopes to have a bigger crowd at a party after the Super Bowl.

"I don't," Coughlin said when asked if he has a problem with the bravado coming from his players. "I know there have been one or two quotes out there. But to be honest with you, I don't know that any one of them have been any different than Tom Brady's."

Brady told a crowd of approximately 25,000 fans at a Patriots pep rally before the team flew to Indianapolis last Sunday that, "We're going to give it our best and hopefully we have a lot more people at our party next weekend."

The Giants said they did not take the comment at the pep rally as a slight. [READ]
