Vikings' Williams Out For Season

Yahoo.com - The Vikings are sure glad they signed Dwight Smith two weeks ago.

Vikings coach Brad Childress confirmed on Sunday that strong safety Tank Williams will need to undergo season-ending surgery for a fractured kneecap. Williams suffered the injury during practice on Saturday.

"I feel terrible for Tank," Childress said before practice on Sunday. [READ]
