Raiders' Gallery Hurts Quad Muscle

AP - Robert Gallery's move back to left tackle was temporarily put on hold Monday when the Raiders placed the third-year offensive lineman on the physically unable to perform list.

Gallery, the No. 2 overall pick in 2004, injured a quad muscle working out last week. Though the injury is not thought to be serious, team trainers and coach Art Shell opted to take a cautious approach.

"He was working out last weekend and he was trying to get that last oomph in and he strained his quad, so we're going to shut him down a little bit," Shell said. [READ]
