Eagles Offer Dawkins Two-Year Extension

Philadelphia Inquirer - The Eagles, according to a published report, have made Brian Dawkins a two-year offer for a contract extension that would keep the veteran safety with the team through the 2008 season.

Quoting an unidentified source, the Trenton Times said Dawkins is considering a deal that would pay him $4.5 million over two years, including a $2 million signing bonus. Dawkins is in the final year of a deal that he signed in 2003 and is scheduled to make $3 million this season. [READ]
