Cowboys' Ellis Wants A New Deal

Dallas Morning News - Greg Ellis, who's entering his ninth NFL season, ended his self-imposed silence about his role on the team Sunday. While he never mentioned money, Ellis made it clear that he wants the remaining four years on his contract restructured.

Ellis, scheduled to earn $2.25 million in 2006, said he doesn't want more money, but he indicated he wants a portion of the money in the final two years of the contract given to him as a signing bonus as part of a restructured deal. [READ]
