Chargers? LB Polk Has A Torn Achilles Tendon, Will Miss 2005 Season

FoxSports.com - San Diego Charters linebacker Carlos Polk tore his left Achilles tendon on Wednesday.

Polk is expected to be out for 6-to-9 months and will most likely miss the entire 2005 season.

This marks another season of bad luck as Polk was only able to play one game last year after suffering a shoulder injury. [READ]
