Toronto Still Keen On Ricky

Miami Herald - The Toronto Argonauts remain keen on bringing in running back Ricky Williams, who will be forced to sit this coming season in the NFL.

Toronto continued to talk with agent Leigh Steinberg about a possible deal. Steinberg again spoke with Dolphins president Bryan Wiedmeier about the team allowing Williams to play for the Argonauts.

In addition, the Argonauts have said publicly they might test Williams for drug use, an attempt at appeasing fans there who have questioned the idea of bringing in Williams. Williams is expected to continue taking drug tests on his own to build a case for reinstatement to the NFL in 2007. [READ]
