Miami Herald - Nick Saban and Ricky Williams were scheduled to meet Wednesday evening about the possibility of the running back playing for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. The coach doesn't feel that it is the best idea for Williams, as he is concerned about a potential injury, but he also seems to not want to tell his player what to do.

Saban spoke with agent Leigh Steinberg, who represents Williams, and outlined some of his concerns.

''In our discussion, Nick raised the natural cautionary note that injuries could occur,'' Steinberg said. ``And coach Saban's perspective is critical to our decision-making, because we don't intend to pursue a course of action that isn't consistent with his wishes.'' [READ]
