Ravens Could Add McNair

Washington Post - The Baltimore Ravens did not use the NFL draft to find a quarterback to compete with Kyle Boller, but they could add Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair in the coming days.

McNair's agent, Bus Cook, told the Associated Press on Sunday he expected the 11-year veteran to be either released by Tennessee or traded to the Ravens within the next day. The Titans took Texas quarterback Vince Young with the third overall pick in the draft, and they would like McNair to restructure his contract (he is due a base salary of $9 million this season).

"Steve is a Tennessee Titan," Baltimore General Manager Ozzie Newsome said. "That has not changed. Have I had a little dialogue with Floyd [Reese, the Titans' general manager]? Yes. Very little." [READ]
