Time Is Running Out For Drummond In Detroit

ESPN - Detroit Lions special teams standout Eddie Drummond is still holding off on signing his qualifying offer in hopes of securing a lucrative multi-year deal.

"We're still very hopeful of a long-term [contract]," said Drummond?s agent Drew Rosenhaus on Saturday, as he watched a Miami Dolphins mini-camp workout that included several of his clients. "That's the goal. Time will tell if we can do it. But, as you know, time is running short."

Drummond has until Wednesday to sign the on-year restricting free agent qualifying offer worth $1.43 million. [READ]
