Leinart Isn't Pursuing Trade

Chris Mortensen/ESPN (via Twitter) - Cardinals quarterback Matt Leinart isn't pursuing a trade, according to ESPN's Chris Mortensen.

Arizona is believed to be shopping Leinart, who hasn't turned into the cornerstone quarterback they expected in the wake of Kurt Warner's retirement.

Leinart has been competing with Derek Anderson to be Arizona's starting quarterback heading into the season.

The young quarterback reportedly believes his best chance to start is with the Cardinals. [READ]
