McNair Decision To Come Soon

Tennessean.com - Steve McNair's salary cap number of $23.46 million is too steep for the Titans, who would save $9 million in cap room by releasing him. They would rather lower the number by restructuring his contract.

"They have to do something,'' said McNair's agent, Bus Cook. "I can't see them carrying ($23.46 million), that's for sure.'' [READ]
