Vinatieri apparently left with a high opinion of the Packers organization but not with the knock-your-socks-off offer that would cause him to cancel his plane reservations home. General manager Ted Thompson is not the kind who spends big money on kickers and there was no indication the Packers offered anything that would blow away Vinatieri. [READ] |
