Seahawks Trade For Charlie Whitehurst

Seattle Times - The Seahawks will acquire reserve quarterback Charlie Whitehurst from the Chargers.

He has yet to attempt a regular-season pass in the NFL, but Seattle is willing to give up draft-day position this year and next to land the restricted free-agent.

Seattle and San Diego will swap second round picks and the Chargers will receive the Seahawks' third-round choice in 2011.

The Seahawks are expected to sign Whitehurst to a two-year contract that will pay him more than $4 million per season. [READ]
