Thomas Not At Voluntary Workout, Never Said He Wanted To Be A Jet
16th March, 2010 - 5:12 pm
ESPN - Patriots linebacker Adalius Thomas was not in attendance Monday for the start of the team's offseason program at Gillette Stadium.

Thomas told the Boston Herald that he was not even aware that the voluntary program had begun.

He is under contract to earn $4.9 million in 2010 and said last month he is not sure where he will play next season.

His name was linked to the Jets this offseason after comments made by New York linebacker Bart Scott.

"I've heard of all the chatter up there about me," Thomas said. "It was about something Bart Scott said on TV, [and] that's not what was said ... I have never told anyone that I wanted to leave and go play for the Jets." [READ]
