Saints Have Love, But May Not Have Money For Sharper

NFL.com - Saints general manager Mickey Loomis would love to re-sign safety Darren Sharper, but isn't sure if the team has enough money to do so.

"Listen, I got all the love in the world for Darren Sharper, I just don't have all the money in the world for Darren Sharper," Loomis said in response to comments made by Sharper that the Saints weren't showing him any love.

"If it fits under our salary structure and the resources that we have, then we'll definitely want to have him back. If it doesn't, and he has an opportunity someplace else, then we understand that." [READ]
