Bills Release DT Sam Adams

WGR - The Buffalo Bills have released defensive tackle Sam Adams, saving the club $3.5 million against the cap for the 2006 season. Adams spoke to WGR's Jeff Morrison, confirming the situation.

Adams was in his last season with the team and was scheduled to make $3.5 million.

ESPN's John Clayton also spoke to WGR and said that negotiations had been on going for several weeks to reduce Adams' salary, though the 12-year veteran would have none of it. [READ]
