Police Confirm That Taylor Did Not Fire Gun, May Have Been The Victim
7th June, 2005 - 3:21 pm
The Washington Times - Contrary to earlier charges, Miami police are now saying that Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor did not fire any shots in Wednesday night's shooting in Dade County. In fact, according to sources, Taylor may now have been the victim rather than the attacker.

"As of today, Sean is excused from the participating in the remainder of the club's voluntary offseason workout program and the upcoming mandatory minicamp beginning on June 17," Gibbs said in a statement. "As an organization, the Redskins believe that it is in Sean's best interest to focus on his personal and legal issues at this time." [READ]
