Morstead Was 'Terrified' By Onside Kick Call

NFL.com - Saints rookie Thomas Morstead was "terrified" when coach Sean Payton called for an onside kick to start the second half of Sunday's Super Bowl.

"I wasn't worried," Morstead said Sunday night. "I was just terrified."

The punter perfectly executed the onside kick, giving New Orleans possession to start the third quarter and enough momentum to win the Super Bowl.

"Absolutely not," Morstead said when asked if his kick won the Super Bowl. "It was one small win, and a whole bunch of those added up to a big win." [READ]
