Browns Release Donte' Stallworth

Bloomberg - Donte? Stallworth was released by the Browns after his reinstatement to the NFL following a season-long suspension.

The Browns announced in a one-sentence statement that they were voiding Stallworth?s contract. The 29-year-old was suspended for the 2009 season without pay after killing a pedestrian while driving drunk.

Cleveland would have owed Stallworth a $1 million bonus had he remained on the roster as of March 20, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. [READ]
