Brady Says He'll Play Four Quarters
1st January, 2010 - 10:14 am
Houston Chronicle - Patriots quarterback Tom Brady says that he'll play all four quarters of the team's game against the Texans on Sunday.

New England has clinched the AFC East title and they can't earn a bye with a victory.

"I expect (to play the whole game if it's a) close game, blowout, if we get behind," he said. "I'm expecting to play the whole game," Brady said. "I wouldn't see why I wouldn't.

"This is a meaningful game for us. It's a meaningful game for them, too.

"It would be great for us to win on the road in a really tough environment against a damn good team. I want to have a great game against a team who's fighting for their playoff lives and has a lot of great players and really challenges you in some different ways. I don't want to lose a game. ...

"I don't want to lose a game. It's not like you just forfeit these games for us. I'm playing Houston. I don't want them in the offseason to see one of these guys and be like, 'Hey, we beat you guys.' Screw that. I just think you've got to go out there and play." [READ]
