Alexander Continues To Deflect Free Agency Talk

Seattle PI - It wouldn't officially have been a Super Bowl news conference without someone asking Shaun Alexander about his contract status. Thursday, the question regarding his impending free agency was on what impact Alexander producing a big game Sunday would have on his future with the team.

"None," he said. "This is the Super Bowl. This game is in itself. The Seahawks will make me a great offer right when the season is over and then I'll have a decision to make.

"But when it comes to me being a Seahawk or being somewhere else, this game will have nothing to do with it. This game is all about winning the Super Bowl and trying to get the Seahawks to play the best game of their lives." [READ]
