Colts Giving Peyton Additional Rest

Indianapolis Star - The Colts are following through on a plan to give Peyton Manning's arm extra rest during the season.

Manning didn't take part in practice with the team last Friday heading into their game against the 49ers.

"It's something we talked about before the season, in November, kind of easing back on Fridays a little bit from a rep standpoint; just try to be rested from an arm standpoint," Manning told the Indianapolis Star.

"I participated in the part of practice that I needed to, but I did take some rest, which is what we talked about starting in November." [READ]
