Eli, Giants Close To Blockbuster Extension

FOX Sports - Eli Manning is close to completing a six-year contract extension with the Giants, sources told Jay Glazer.

The two sides are still working on details, but the Giants are hoping to have the deal completed by Wednesday.

ESPN is reporting that the six-year deal is worth close to $100 million.

Manning was the first overall pick in the 2004 NFL Draft and helped lead New York to a victory over New England in Super Bowl XLII. [READ]
