Pats Sign Chad Brown

PatriotsInsider.com - ESPN’s John Clayton confirmed today that the New England Patriots have agreed to terms with former Seahawk Chad Brown for a two-year, $4 million contract.

Seattle reportedly offered Brown a $1 million contract for 2005 with incentives, however, when Brown refused the Hawks decided to release him and use the extra cap money to help sign linebacker Jamie Sharper and cornerback Andre Dyson. [READ]
