Coughlin Uses Lakers To Motivate Giants

NFL.com - Giants coach Tom Coughlin is using the Lakers' recent NBA title win to motivate his players.

Los Angeles bounced back to win the championship after losing to Boston last June. The Giants lost to the rival Eagles in the postseason while trying to defend their Super Bowl title.

"This year, what I am saying is that, 'Stop and think about the bitterness of the January situation,' and then realize that as in, for example, the Laker team, you can focus on that as a primary motivational position to take," Coughlin said. "And let that be something that you train for over the summer, the idea of getting to and surpassing the circumstance that we were in a year ago." [READ]
