Report: Driver Does Want New Deal

ESPN - Packers wide receiver Donald Driver wants a new contract, according to the Wisconsin State Journal of Madison.

Driver missed a voluntary practice on Thursday, and was quoted earlier this week as saying he was content with his current deal.

He is seeking an upgrade to a contract that will pay him $3.9 million this season and $4 million in 2010, according to the report, which cited two NFL sources and a team source.

"I don't know what he's doing," an NFL source told the State Journal. "It makes no sense." [READ]
