Favre Denies Reports That He'll Return

Star-Tribune - Brett Favre sent a text message to former quarterback and current ESPN analyst Trent Dilfer on Monday saying that he won't play in 2009.

Favre, who received his release from the Jets reserve/retired list last week, said "NO" in capital letters when Dilfer asked if he was returning after his second retirement.

There was speculation that he might join the Vikings, who many feel are a quarterback away from Super Bowl contention. [READ]
