Simms Preparing To Face Belichick

AP - Chris Simms wasn't even a teenager when he got a glimpse of Bill Belichick's obsession with coaching.

They'd both be in the locker room of the New York Giants, where Simms' father Phil was the quarterback and Belichick was an assistant coach.

"He would always say hello and whatever else," the younger Simms said. "Nothing too vivid. He was always concentrating on what he had to do and I was kind of the young punk running around the locker room."

Now he's the 25-year-old quarterback of Tampa Bay and Belichick, New England's head coach, spent part of this week concentrating on stopping him in Saturday's game between the Buccaneers and the Patriots, both division leaders. [READ]
