Playing Madden Makes You A Smarter Fan?

Orlando Sentinel - EA Sports, the maker of the popular Madden video game franchise, recently conducted a survey that revealed the game's "value" to fans.

More than 15,000 NFL fans were surveyed and divided into groups that don't play Madden versus those that do. Madden players had a football IQ about 60 points higher, according to the report.

"We just had our 20th anniversary of the game," said Peter Moore, president of EA Sports, "and I wanted to know what we have achieved. I always believed we do a service to the sport by introducing young people to it." [READ]
