Cleveland GM Savage Gets Ax

Cleveland Plain Dealer - The Browns have confirmed that they have fired GM Phil Savage, and is it believed that coach Romeo Crennel could be next.

Owner Randy Lerner reportedly made the decision prior to Sunday's season finale.

A source said the decision was based on problems with Savage's communication and leadership skills. [READ]
