Giants' Jacobs To Sit Against Cowboys

ESPN - Giants' running back Brandon Jacobs will sit out Sunday's game against the Cowboys because of a knee injury.

"We just don't think he will be ready," Coach Tom Coughlin said after practice on Friday.

Derrick Ward will start in his place, with Ahmad Bradshaw moving up to the backup role.

Jacobs, who has 1,002 yards rushing and 12 touchdowns, aggravated his knee against the Eagles last Sunday. [READ]
