Jones: You Would Have To Shoot Barber To Keep Him Off Field

Dallas Morning News - Just days after criticizing the toughness of Cowboys' running back Marion Barber, team owner Jerry Jones has changed his stance.

"We all know how tough Marion Barber is," Jones said. "When he had his injury I felt, 'Look, you have to shoot him to keep him off the football field.' So I was surprised that we didn't have him.

"That was not meant to be critical of his toughness. It did come out that way, but fundamentally, it was because he is so tough, you would have thought that he could play." [READ]
