The Cowboys are either unapologetically loved or hated, but one thing they always are to both is interesting. That is also true with Jerry Jones sitting like Seth Bullock at the trigger of the draft.

Various Notes

- Assuming Felix Jones can get and stay healthy, the 2008 draft class has the potential of being very special, especially since Orlando Scandrick looks like a steal in the fifth round. Jenkins should be better this year, Tashard Choice was a great fill-in late in the year and Martellus Bennett has enough talent and the right mentors to be very good.

- The 2006 draft was a disaster with Bobby Carpenter as a bust and Anthony Fasano was dealt for a fourth round pick.

- Patrick Crayton became a seventh round steal in 2004 and is a legitimate number two receiver.

- The DeMarcus Ware/Marion Barber/Jay Ratliff and Terrence Newman/Jason Witten 2003 draft were both incredibly successful.
