Number of drafted Pro Bowlers: 6

(Marked by * below)

Rick Spielman replaced Fran Foley shortly after the 2006 NFL Draft.

Various Notes

- Kevin Williams, Adrian Peterson, Chad Greenway and Bryant McKinnie have been more successful first round selections than Dimitrius Underwood, Kenechi Udeze, Troy Williamson, Erasmus James and Michael Bennett (despite the Pro Bowl selection).

- Minnesota lost their first round pick in 2008 due to the addition of Jared Allen, but they did well with Tyrell Johnson.

- The successive drafts of Randy Moss and Daunte Culpepper set the Vikings up to have one of the more potent offensive attacks on a year basis through the first five seasons of the new century.
