Number of drafted Pro Bowlers since 1997: 9

(Pro Bowlers marked by * below)

Mike Reinfeldt came back to the Titans/Oilers after the 2006 season and joined the long-tenured Jeff Fisher. Reinfeldt replaced Floyd Reese, who had been the GM for 13 years.

Various Notes

- One of the Titans' nine drafted Pro Bowlers is Vince Young, who may or may not be in Nashville much longer.

- With Eddie George in tow, the Titans largely ignored the running back position, but they drafted one in the first or second round in 2006, 2007 and 2008.

- The Titans have frequently selected defensive backs with first and second round picks.

- Drafting quarterbacks is not something the Titans frequently will do, as Kevin Daft late in 1999 is their only selection other than Young. Tennessee had Steve McNair as their fixture for so long and their backups were found via free agency.

- Since 2000, Michael Roos is their only offensive lineman selected in the first three rounds.

- Tennessee has selected eight receivers since 2005, but none of those players have become a reliable playmaker.
