As the famous old adage goes: fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Apparently this does not apply to sports as talk of where Terrell Owens is going to play next season is just heating up. Less than 12 hours after the Broncos got exposed for what they are (a one-dimensional team who got lucky in the first round) lineman Tom Nalen revealed that he would welcome T.O. to Denver. Huh? Nalen must have read the book ?How to Dismantle a Talented Team? and is now taking it into his hands to promote the wide receiver that needs no promotion. Nalen cited the veteran presence in the Denver locker room as something that will keep Owens on the straight and narrow. Apparently he was backed up by many other Bronco teammates in an effort to improve their offense next season.

Has anyone payed any attention to what T.O. has done to his previous two teams.

In San Francisco he went from a young promising receiver to a loudmouth who openly trashed his quarterback only to be traded.

He refused to go to Baltimore where he was originally traded because he didn?t want Kyle Boller throwing him the ball.

He landed with the Eagles taking them to the Super Bowl in his first year only to cause a bigger scene than an eighth-grade girl who dipped into her parents? vodka the next year. If I?m not mistaken, that Philadelphia team was veteran laden just like the one Nalen claims he plays for. If Owens wasn?t happy with Donavon Mcnabb then how is he going to feel when Jake ?The Snake? is slinging the ball his way? He will make Jake wish he was still in Arizona and this team that went 13-3 this season will be having more ?family meetings? than an episode of Full House.

It seems pretty apparent people like to forgive and forget. But before we go all crazy and give T.O. another chance, just look at his recent history. It?s not like this happened way back when and now he is reformed.

You can guarantee he will be doing the same thing once his situation doesn?t fit his liking. And just like somebody who finds an open sore when going the bathroom, the Denver Broncos are going to ask ?what the hell happened? before you know it. I will know exactly what happened and while they start rebuilding for the future I will just sit back, shake my head and wait to find out the next victim of the T.O. sweepstakes.
