| Strengths | Has all the physical attributes that teams desire--size, speed, strength, quickness. Early entrant but he started for 3 seasons at a top-level program, so he has experience. Real knack for finding the ball and making plays. Smart and instinctive in coverage. Shows good cognizance of routes and aggressively goes after the ball. Sound tackler with some pop. Solid citizen who leads by example. Has some PR ability. Gets off blocks well and finishes his tackles.

| Weaknesses | Has adequate speed but doesn’t always run at full speed; only hits his top gear while running with his head down. Quicker receivers had success getting separation. Had several instances where he went through the receiver to get the ball and got away with it, which won’t fly in the NFL. Can get caught flat-footed on play action and pump fakes, needs more consistent footwork.
