All Stars Helping Kids, a 501 (C) (3) non profit, has developed a charitable Fantasy Football League. Each league entrant will be assigned a NFL Legend who will offer advice on draft day and throughout the season.
To date, Ronnie Lott, Marcus Allen, Michael Irvin, and Tim Brown have agreed to serve as draft consultants. The League will kick off with a draft party on Friday, July 20th at the Bellagio’s Light Night Club in Las Vegas. The winning team will receive a $20,000 donation in their name to their favorite charity and an all expense paid trip for four to the Pro Bowl in Honolulu, February 9, 2008.
The league entry fee is $15,000 for up to 4 players on each team. You can also purchase tickets to the draft party at $500 which includes a night stay at the Bellagio.
To join the league or purchase tickets to the party, please contact Billie Anne Holmes at 650-363-1395 ext 101 or billie@allstarshelpingkids.com (limited tickets and spots in the league available). All proceeds will benefit All Stars Helping Kids.
About All Stars:
Founded in 1989 by NFL Hall of Famer Ronnie Lott, the mission of All Stars Helping Kids is to promote a safe, healthy, and rigorous learning environment for disadvantaged youth. We partner with high-performing non-profit organizations using education to break the cycle of poverty in low-income, primarily African American and Latino communities. All Stars Helping Kids pools the resources of world class athletes, corporations, and individuals to support the single goal of providing disadvantaged children with 360° support. We define 360° support as wrap around programming involving academic, physical enrichment, and health services. While most programs choose to focus on one dimension of a child’s development, All Stars aims to ensure that programs/schools working with children view their interaction with them through a 360° lens. To that end, All Stars is positioned to serve as a convening force, facilitating networks, collecting and disseminating best practices, with the ultimate goal of enabling disparate groups attacking the issues facing low-income children from different entry points to collaborate.
