PFF: Kirk Cousins Was NFL's Worst Player In Week 6

Oct 21, 2015 12:35 PM

Kirk Cousins was the worst player in the NFL during Week 6, according to Pro Football Focus.

Cousins had two interceptions in Washington's loss against the New York Jets.

Cousins completed only 25 percent of his passes of 10 yards or more and his -6.8 grade was nearly twice as bad as the second-worst QB.

Despite his struggles this season, Jay Gruden continues to support starting Cousins.

Jay Gruden Continuing 'Investment' In Kirk Cousins

Oct 19, 2015 11:16 AM

Jay Gruden continues to stand behind Kirk Cousins as quarterback of Washington despite continued struggles.

Cousins has a passer rating of 77.4 and a 2-4 record this season.

"We'll have to look at the film," Gruden said. "I'd like to see what happens when we get our full cast of characters back. There were opportunities for Kirk to make some plays. He missed some throws. We have spent a lot of time, invested a lot of time this season in Kirk. We stand behind Kirk. We'll see what happens next week with Tampa."

"I'm here to support the team," said Robert Griffin III. "Not expecting anything. It's not my call. I was not expecting it."
