Darrelle Revis Could Emerge In Serious Trade Talks

Jun 1, 2014 5:37 AM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have received calls from teams inquiring about the availability of Darrelle Revis.

The Buccaneers acquired Revis last offseason for a first round pick. Revis has a huge salary and his talents are unlikely to be maximized in Lovie Smith's defense.

The Buccaneers haven't shopped Revis and no firm offers have been made, but talks could begin in earnest at the start of the NFL's year on March 11.

Buccaneers Considering QB With 7th Overall Pick

Oct 31, 2014 5:51 PM

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will consider drafting a quarterback with the seventh overall pick.

Mike Glennon finished the season as the starting quarterback of the Buccaneers.

"I know enough about that draft to know, yeah, there's someone that would be worthy of the seventh pick because everything is on the board right now,'' Lovie Smith said at the scouting combine in Indianapolis. "Whenever you have a chance to get a franchise quarterback, you have to consider that.''

Teddy Bridgewater, Johnny Manziel, Blake Bortles or Derek Carr could be available at No. 7.
