Chiefs, Eagles, Broncos Considered Top Spots For Robert Griffin

Feb 24, 2016 8:55 PM

The Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles are considered the top potential landing spots for Robert Griffin III.

Washington will release Griffin before March 9th.

"I'll give you two big options right off the top," Ian Rapoport said on NFL Network. "The Kansas City Chiefs, who have Andy Reid, who has propped up quarterbacks for years. (Griffin) can learn to throw from the pocket under that system. Another potential name: the Philadelphia Eagles with one of Reid's disciples, Doug Pederson. They're looking for some quarterback depth there, especially if they don't re-sign Sam Bradford."

The Denver Broncos are also an option for Griffin if they're unable to re-sign Brock Osweiler.

Eagles Want To Re-Sign Sam Bradford

Feb 20, 2016 9:14 PM

The Philadelphia Eagles would like to re-sign Sam Bradford this offseason.

“We’ve all been clear that we like Sam and we’d like to have him back,” Howie Roseman said. “It goes then between all of us and whether we can figure something out that makes sense on both sides.

“Sometimes we get in a situation where we sit here and it makes sense from a team perspective. But when you’re talking about a negotiation, it’s also got to work for the other side, and the player. We understand that. Hopefully, this will all work out and we’ll look at that depth chart when we line up in July and we’ll be really excited about the position.”

The Eagles traded for Bradford last offseason during Chip Kelly's regime.

Mark Sanchez is the only quarterback under contract with the Eagles.

Arrest Warrant Coming For LeSean McCoy

Feb 10, 2016 8:21 PM

An arrest warrant is expected to be issued for LeSean McCoy following an alleged assault at a nightclub against off-duty police officers.

Investigators recommended McCoy be charged with aggravated assault.

McCoy's lawyer told Outside The Lines' John Barr on Tuesday that his client will turn himself in if he is charged.

The off-duty police officers will face no internal disciplinary charges as a result of the alleged incident.

Philadelphia's District Attorney's office said Tuesday that they have received the case from police and are reviewing it for potential charges.

The argument began over ownership of a bottle of champagne, according to the police statement. Police said "pushing and shoving" over the bottle led to one of the off-duty officers being knocked to the ground, and while he was on the ground, he was "punched, kicked and stomped about his body and head multiple times by all four suspects."
