Jim Irsay has been charged with two misdemeanors after a March driving arrest, according to multiple media reports.

Irsay has been charged with one count of operating while intoxicated, a C misdemeanor, and one count of operating a vehicle with a schedule I or II controlled substance or its metabolite in the body, also a C misdemeanor. The substances were oxycodone and/or hydrocodone.

Irsay returned to the Indianapolis Colts' war room on the second day of the NFL Draft.

Roger Goodell has yet to address how he plans to discipline Irsay, saying he wants to see how the legal case proceeds.

Robert Mathis has received a four-game suspension by the NFL for a violation of the league's performance-enhancing substance policy.

Mathis said in a statement he was seeking fertility assistance and acknowledged that he and his wife are expecting a baby.

Mathis had 19.5 sacks last season, and the Indianapolis Colts will miss his presence because its first two games in 2014 against the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles.

Erik Swoope was signed by the Indianapolis Colts to play tight end as an undrafted free agent.

Swoope is a four-year basketball player that has never played organized football at any level.

The Colts are intrigued by the athleticism of Swoope just as the New Orleans Saints were with Jimmy Graham.
