J.J. Watt Living 'Rocky' Lifestyle In Wisconsin Cabin In Offseason

Jan 30, 2015 6:07 PM

J.J. Watt bought a simple cabin in Wisconsin for his offseason workouts.

"It’s really minimalistic," Watt told the Houston Chronicle. "The only thing I have to focus on is training, and that’s the way I like it. There’s no frills. There’s nothing to distract you up here."

Last offseason, Watt slept on a mattress on his friend's dining room floor while putting himself through two-a-days living what he termed a "Rocky" lifestyle.

Rams Interested In Trading For Nick Foles

Jan 27, 2015 11:35 AM

The St. Louis Rams have interest in trading for Nick Foles.

Foles could be made available this offseason by the Philadelphia Eagles as they also have interest in trading up for Marcus Mariota.

The Tennessee Titans and Houston Texans could also have interest in Foles.

"Love him," one NFL coach said of Foles. "Right now I would put him in the second or third tier of quarterbacks, but I think he is right on the cusp of being in the top tier at the position."

Foles inability to escape pressure was highlighted last season as the offensive line suffered through a season of injuries and poor play.

Foles has been quiet since his injury, but did make it clear in his lone interview that he expects to be with the Eagles next season.

"I expect to be back here," Foles said. "I expect to be the quarterback. I love my teammates, and I expect to be back out there leading them and winning some games. I'm excited to come back better than I ever have been."

Gary Kubiak Would Accept Broncos' Job If Offered

Jan 19, 2015 12:26 AM

Gary Kubiak would accept the Denver Broncos' head coaching position if he's offered it.

Kubiak is believed to be the Broncos' top candidate.

If a deal is reached, the Broncos are not expected to announce the hire until Tuesday, after Sunday's conference championship games and Monday's Martin Luther King holiday.

Kubiak said in a statement earlier this month that he would remain with the Baltimore Ravens, although he acknowledged it was "flattering and humbling to be invited to interview for a number of NFL head coaching positions."

The Ravens have already begun heaing from potential replacements should Kubiak leave.
