The Denver Broncos have told Russell Okung that they will not pick up his option, according to sources.

If the Broncos had exercised their $1 million option on Okung, he could have earned up to $48 million over another four years.

The Denver Broncos re-hired Mike McCoy as offensive coordinator and he believes he can make the team's quarterbacks better.

Denver currently has Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch as options.

"I've worked with all kinds of quarterbacks," McCoy said. "I think we can make an offense that works for all our quarterbacks. I think I can make any of our quarterbacks better and adjust to what they do best."
